I have that exact knife got zero issues. Don't use to much lubricant it will actually make things worse. Just use pivot screw to loosen it up same gors for Benchmade knifes that sometimes have pivot screws too tight by factory and it barely open (claymore) To set pivot screw perfectly just tight up pivot screw open the blade to 90 degrees and slowly loosen it up until blade opens on its own. then manually open the knife to 45 degree and if the spring opens it up you are gucci. If not loosen it up slowly until it opens on its own. Wors case scenario it m8ght be too cold in your area for teflon washers so you need to swap em to copper ones

@@LuiGiBon000 thanks for the comment 👍🍻 I actually dumped this thing off for $10 & wasn't sad about it; the guy who bought it carries it some, and the last time I saw it, the blade lockup was scary loose... terrible quality, design & execution from Schrade IMO. My SOG Flash II was ten times the knife for roughly the same coin... After being very good initially, Scrade's customer service rapidly cooled on me & they refused to replace this one for me...still they've been fine with other knife issues I've had overall & this was a good learning experience for me... appreciate you taking the time to offer helpful advice for folks 👍👍
