There is a really rare knife I was wondering you could look into? It’s the LEATHERMAN STEENS S30V I can’t find much info on it and something about it just ticks all the boxes for a dream knife!

Interesting. I have a Leatherman Expanse Knife, actually. Long discontinued. I had not known about the Steens. I feel like if you want it, you should definitely pursue it. One could pop up on Ebay. We only live once :]

I live in NJ. If a cop ever stops you, finds your blade and asks why are you carrying this, never ever say for self defense. Seriously. Say, I work in a warehouse and I use it to cut up lots of cardboard and plastic wrapped pallets (which I do and also show my work I.D. of said hub and employer). If you actually use it for self defense, never mention self defense. Always tell the judge I just reacted because I felt my life was threatened to the point of imminent deletion (you know what I mean. Stupid YT censors).

Though uconstitutional, these laws are almost everywhere. In Michigan, for at least 10 or 15 years now they base it upon 'intent', so like if you're breaking into cars and you have it on you or if you robbed someone and have it on you, etc., then they can and will hit you with a possession of a concealed weapon charge. The weird caveat involves fixed blade knives, in that you cannot carry them concealed. I was thinking about this and the people who wrote it either were ignorant of knives or this was back before most folding knives were considered stouts and reliable for martial concepts. I also concur with the sentiment on stating that you carry the blade for self-defense to law enforcement getting you in trouble. Why that would be illegal is beyond me, but the only thing I've managed to think up would be if the government says your idea of self-defense maybe incorrect? But that's only a potentiality... Being denied the right to bear arms because you may not understand the intricacies of their laws regarding self-defense (stand your ground, duty to run and pitch yourself, etc), does you may incorrectly apply force in any given encounter or scenario is completely ludicrous. Like I said though it's the only thing I can think of as to why they would make that their policy.

@chadwick4000 I've had 2 good coworker buddies randomly stopped, questioned, searched, had their folding knives confiscated from them just walking while blaq (fu YT censors). Luckily they were cheap Kershaw and Milwaukee folders we used for work. Too much of a hassle and not worth the $$$$ over here to fight the law when you did nothing wrong. I'm not sure what knife carrying laws other states have but NJ has some really dumb laws. Like the blade can't be bigger than the palm of your hand, can't be automatic open, switch blade or no butterfly/balisong etc. Air rifles, mace or Bear spray can't be bought online shipped to NJ. I can't recall but I think even wrist rocket slingshots and brass knuckles are still illegal. Meanwhile we got guys from the ghettos of Philly and Camden running around, carjacking folks at gun point LoL

I think disposable, effective tools like this are going to become more and more of a trend. If you look at all of the practitioners in the United Kingdom, you know the unidentified teens, they all have kitchen knives. This is partially due to it being the United Kingdom, but I believe partially due to the fact that it's just a tool to them.
