Hi! Lots of my subscribers requested this piece. Typically, Schubert’s pieces are difficult to express well because it is hard to feel his mixed feelings. I recorded this piece last week. But, I didn’t like it from the interpretation perspective. So, I had to record it again this week, the upload was delayed. Anyway, I hope that you guys like this performance. Thank you so much for your support!! Please don’t forget to subscribe, like and comments! Have a nice day!

Did you know that… At the end of 1816 (at the age of 19), Schubert left his father's school and Salieri's teaching. In 1817, he was taken in by his friend Franz von Schober, with whom he stayed several times later. That year he wrote six piano sonatas and numerous lieder (including Der Tod und das Mädchen and Die Forelle). Franz Schubert's Moments Musicaux are six short piano pieces from the late creative period of the musician. The first publisher of these pieces in 1828, Sauer and Leidesdorf, entitled them, in approximate French, Moments musicaux.

Is it me or does this melody wants to tell you that you're having a wonderful day and there is something missing. Each note tells you that you're missing something and the silence at the end informs you that you have found it, you've found that particular missing piece, the cherry on top of the cake.

Schubert is one of those composers that never cease to amaze me. Every piece is different from the melodies to the accompanying and the orchestra. It's like i am entering another universe each time i listen to a different piece. You Kassia express this feeling at an astonishing level through this piece. Bravo. A recommendation for the future: Fantasia for four hands (Schubert). It would be great if we could listen the whole piece with a partner.

I live in hong kong and there was a famous cartoon theme song remixed by moment musicaux no.3. The cartoon is about a pig's daily but it is very funny. This song is very joyful and I like it very much. Your playing is WONDERFUL !!

I was just thinking to start listening to more of Schubert's works, when... suddenly Kassia uploads a wonderful and brilliantly played Schubert piece. Thank you for sharing your beautiful content and awesome piano skills. Recently I wanted to request you a piece: Beethoven Pathetique Sonata Mvt. 1; it is the only movement missing, and it would be so awesome to listen to the whole Sonata played by you. Again, thank you for your awesome work.

Nice playing! I played this piece a week ago and it’s harder than it sounds. You made it sound easy.

Nicely played. Amazing expression. May I suggest serenade by Schubert or Moonlight Sonata 1st movement. I would love to hear your interpretation of these pieces.

I remember playing this for in exam, and even tho being a big Schubert fan, I couldn't manage. Idk something was wrong with how I played it. Your interpretation is really good, good job !
