So I have a question asking for a friend his schufa was perfect when he moved to germany but lost his job after 4 months and fell behind on his bills for like 8 months and know he can't even get car insurance because of schufa entries he recently started work and payed all the bills and is know in perfect order and up to date with his mobile phone and home internet and utilities bills he has no credit cards or anything else credit wise. How can he fix it. Thank you so much

approximately how many credit cards are good to maintain before getting a bad schufa score? 3 -4?

As I can't say that how many credit cards are good... but I would only suggest that if you are not using any of your credit cards regularly then it is better to cancel it.... you can get a free SCHUFA score and see if it above the satisfactory level....
