I don't have the Schultz yet. I just acquired the Z-31, and in my first match I citadel'd a broadside Myoko 3 times on just two salvos...Needless to say my jaw landed on the floor. So I'll be moving on to the Maerker and eventually the Schultz, thus continuing my ongoing streak of having never met a German ship that I disliked.

I have Eric set with mortar and the torpedo skill. I don't care to much about having faster reloadind Boost for a shorter smoke. And these ships are ment to use the guns, so i do prefer to make them more effective. For something middleground, i use furiora, that can focus on concealment and torpedos, without so much detriment of the guns. Love this type of gameplay. GG.

Glad wargamming did this. We been needed a ship on tech tree line similar to ebling. Gives you idea if you want ebling or not playing this destroyer because giving up 1.4 million xp is alot and major decision make.

In general Elbing plays similarly, but more versatile and it can do that by launching longer range torps while hammering from afar. Schultz is almost exclusively a gun boat because its torps are 8km range and slower than molasses in the winter time.

The pen angles are the same but Elbing pens at 12km what Schultz pens at 8km (190mm), also Elbing's AP has a higher Krupp (shell hardness) so its shells with shatter less and have a higher chance of penetrating. TLDR: the pen angles are the same but Elbing has WAY better AP pen.

@@DerkaGamesMy point was meant that so far no CC has issued any video other than when this ship delivers her promises and then folks tend to overlook pitfalls of each ship and get enchanted. In this vid particularly your Plymouth partner did hell of a great deal of the job being bold enough to endevor out and spot red DDs, at least this is my understanding. So what if your BBs mates do not understand Herr Schultz's upsides and downsides and they will not go out of their way to take some demage but rather rally in the same grid square and start gossipig on their yellow belly DD player, I guess it wouldn't be exceptional. Nonetheless, I am always happy to watch videos from any of you (CC), even though I pick you up on something here and there.

I didn’t get lucky with the crates last update so I just got z31 but I’ve been super impressed so far. I run a double stealth build using mordoff as the second inspiration it’s been super easy slipping up on seals and clubbing them.

I build Maerker / Elbing for Stealth and torp speed using Bey as a DD hunter. I get 5.2km detection and 60 knot torps. Its a blast this way. DD fighting? Just use AP until they go broadside and switch to HE to finish the job.

Yeah it's very similar to gj mearker, check that video out. The only discussion is if you want to run mortar or not. If you struggle with low conceal DDs just use Look at Me Now

This line is really good, but with how poor i am in game i'm not even close to grind these... As for Schultz itself ? Great Elbonk counterpart Meanwhile Brest ? Only redeeming feature is its called breast, but french BCs needs a MASSIVE buff right now, i'd rather have a Strasbourg in LT than Brest, i mean you got the exact same guns as Dunkerque !
