Nice! Can't wait to run my L1r/L1/Evo Frankenstein build, hopefully the best of all worlds lol The L1R towers mount the shocks about 1mm lower front and rear, I put my Evo tower back on since I don't need that extra droop. Also, the parts labelled Stock Spec are just Schumacher's recommendation for running stock class. They include the slipper eliminator, 4mm belts and c/f chassis. If anyone wants to order parts straight from Schumacher in jolly old England, it only took 3 days for my L1R parts to get to the western US, I was shocked lol

I've was hoping you would get around to doing l1evo and and l1r comparison and you didn't disappoint, I find them very informative, so thanks for uploading 👌

Centre transmission only difference is the slipper shaft is 4mm ally in the L1R 3mm steel in the evo, no stock speck coming just a guide to what you fit for the lockout I believe, chassis shape is for allowing the chassis to roll better on bumpy ground where the evo would rub on the chassis in those corners, towers have changed shock holes slightly, improved geometry...

The belts are 4mm on the l1r like they were on the OG L1. Rear C and D block are wider and the rear driveshaft is a little longer as well to accompany the new rear hub geometry.

Great video, very helpful! Did you find out what part number is correct at about 8:20?

kinda weird that the manual says to remove the rear diff cover if you are running on a loose dirt track

I thought so as well, but it makes sense. This way the dirt does not get stuck…
