Inside Eddie Lee's Manhattan Apartment

Interior designer, Eddie Lee, welcomes us into his moody, masculine and maximalist apartment in an old automobile garage in New York’s Hell’s Kitchen. Lee shares how he leaned into the lack of natural light to make the home envelop visitors, made the small spaces flexible, and also his favorite design advice.

Show us the bathroom, more of the bedroom. I like the design; I wouldn't have chosen brown pillow highlights with gray and black -- the brighter blue side table is a nice pop of color.

I hardly ever like eclectic interiors, but this home is beautiful. I think it is a style that always starts out with good intentions, but almost always ends up looking like a bit of a mess. Good job. I wonder if anyone out there saw the movie, "The Book Thief" well in the final minute of that movie the camera pans around the most perfect "eclectic" apartment I have ever seen. I purchased the DVD just to watch that minute over and over. Yeah, I'm old, I still watch DVDs. Perhaps the owner of this home would like to check out that glorious minute.

Wao! Once Mr. Lee begun to talk and described his moody, masculine dimmer but with light around his apartment, somehow I immediately walked to my closet, took out my shade and covered my lamp that it’s in my bedroom so that it be moody. Hey, thanks Mr. Lee for your tip.
