@BAJJMiller Carcasi belongs to the LSO and is mainly used for orchestral projects . I was using it before when I could because I wasn't satisfied with the sound of Albany...untill I found Eudoxa Solo strings which transformed the sound entirely.Also for Romantic music t's more appropriate as it's sound is more open.

@Clonkers223 I'm curious as to how you came about thinking the sheet music to be printed in A major, If his strings were tuned to F,Bb,Eb,Ab, its as if he was playing it in G major (hence the use of open strings and harmonics)... right?

OK, OK, his own bass does sound better than that borrowed one. Still, his playing both shows that the beauty coming out of the instrument is mostly his mastery, not the instrument or the bow.
