なんと美しい音。ホロヴィッツも同じ曲を弾いているけど、音にしても表現にしても痛いというか、刺さるような鋭さがあるが、リヒテルのそれらには温かみと優しさがある。 リヒテルを見ると亡くなった父を思い出す。人間としてのピアニストで最もあいしているのはリヒテルだ。一度でも生で演奏を聴いてみたかった（涙）

A joy to hear these lesser known works by Schumann played by Sviatoslav Richter, he had such a light touch when needed but then immense power too. We are so lucky to have these You Tube films of him, for those of us that never got around to hearing him live. His Beethoven Sonata no 32 opus 111 from Moscow in 1975 was mind-blowing, the best I've heard I think and he is even tapping his foot at one point. Thanks for posting this.
