I discovered Wolfram just couple of years ago, thanks to YT, and now I can’t have enough of him, playing Schumann, Schubert, Brahms and especially Mendelsohn! I now prefer his masterful and artistically eloquent playing of Schumann to Gilels, who I worshipped all my life. i still find it courageous that Schumann expressed his inner turmoils - maybe due to a bipolar condition - in his two alter egos, Florestan and Eusebius. his discoveries, horizons and pains, became accessible for us. their musical expressions should be used in treatments, in addition to the one sided pharmacotherapies.

Não me canso de ouvir schumann , principalmente essa grande obra. Magnifica, que me transporta para uma dimensão não passageira mais eterna , onde mergulho nos mistérios da harmonia produzida pelo piano pela sua infinita beleza na busca, no encontro do Sobrenatural que é Deus.

Klara Würtz interpretes Schumann's work as I imagine Clara Schumann had done virtuously in the 19th century. Mrs.Würtz knows how to underline the beauty of Schumann's music. Her artisitic sensitivity and technical superiority are not brought to the knowledge of a wider audience by a more recording and publishing.

I didn't like her piano play for a long time, as I thought that she was not virtuoso enough. But now I have changed mind, she is not really virtuoso, like for example Horowitz, but she is musician with enough virtuosity to represent the music at heart. She recalls me Jörg Demus, who was not a fuzzy virtuoso but a austere performer of Schumann's thoughts.
