Schwarzkopf LIVE Intense Lightener Review | 00B Max Blonde

So this is my review of the Schwarzkopf LIVE Intense Lightener, in the lightest shade available, 00B Max Blonde.
Hopefully this covers everything, it was a root regrowth application as I have lightened my hair before HOWEVER I also applied it to the lengths to lighten them some more. The results weren't very impressive...

I use this all the time it has saved me so much from going to the salon, before I was paying around £180 every four weeks in Toni & Guy. I now pay £25 with two boxes and a toner and my hair is far from perfect but it is very bright blonde. I use the B blonde toner on it afterwards and it actually looks decent. I also use Olaplex regularly and a shea butter Jamaican conditioner and it keeps it in nice condition.

You need to tone it to take the brassiness out. A purple shampoo will fix that.

Crocalot it always tends to leave my hair a tad brassy too until I started using a good purple shampoo! I love the bleach London shampoo! It leaves my hair hair a beautiful cool blonde shade! Highly recommend 😊x

Ive used this product for about 10 years and my hair used to literally go white i got so many compliments, ive been dark for a while and I'm going to go back blonde it will definitely go platinum but you need to do it a few times

I use the platinum I've never had any issues, you needed 2 boxes with long and quite thick hair. Max blonde does work really well if you use the right quantity

courtney binns yes! i did, my hair was black when i bleached it so it went kind of orange but it didn’t make my hair that dry and i would use it again :)

I’d use it to go a brighter ginger because some of the beautiful shades takes to lighter hair or if i wanted to do ginger with colour streakes

I want to use this to remove dark brown box dye and lift my own light brown hair to a blonde. It doesn't matter if its yellow even as I want to go over it with copper or light auburn. I'm going to take a deep breath and give it a try.

Get hold of blondeme ash toner from website Franklin’s. It’s brilliant stuff! Iv bought this box today just to do my 1 inch roots coz I struggling doing bowl and brush and because I don’t want to touch the rest of my blonde, I thought maybe bottle formula would be easier . Lol

Ive got this haha and I am kinda nervous although I did dye my hair blonde just the other day and it went ginger on the roots and didn't take to my ends so I'm going in again with this mainly on the top half and going to be chopping the ends off. I don't mind if mine goes extremely bright or darker but I just hope it is even. I plan to go pink after so it shouldn't matter if there's ginger in it for me plus I have some purple shampoo

If you're planning to go pink after have you looked at the Live Lightener & Twist dyes? I've never tried it but if they have the colour you want it could cut out an extra step. Fingers crossed it all turns out even for you! :)

Oh god.. I'm dying my hair tomorrow! I'm kinda scared.. I have 2 bottles to I think I will be find but the problem is, is that i have thick hair so I'll need to use them both. I'm scared it will go ginger lmao

If you haven't dyed it before I'd recommend getting a stronger lightener like BBlonde, and then maybe use your Live bottles to do your roots when they come through. Either way I'm sure it'll be fine, even if it's a bit darker than you want you can use a toner and then lighten it again when the time comes. :)

If it turned out well the first time and you've found a purple shampoo that works, I wouldn't worry about it! :)

You could definitely put a darker blonde on top as long as it's just a colour, and doesn't have any lightener in.

I’m so fucking dumb, I’m dying my brothers hair and forgot to put the POWDER IN! I watched this review because it didn’t seem to be lightening (now I know it’s because there was no powder) so I mixed the powder with conditioner and slapped it on top of the other products already on his hair and told him it was ‘an extra lightening cream’ 🤣🤣 Thankyou for telling me about the powder otherwise I never would have put it on and his hair wouldn’t have lightened and it would have been a waste of money!!

The hair at the back of your head ( the underneath )is really hard to lift the dye you used is basically a prelightner and you need a toner after

I know, I've tried lots of lighteners and toners since but most of them didn't work, I still had orange patches. I've just managed to get my hair a light yellow all over with different dyes, and am about to try the toners again

Yes it's supposed to be about the same, in my opinion a bleach product would be a bit stronger though

That will depend on so many things so I can't really answer, just try to keep your hair in good condition and avoid bleaching the same area over and over (which can happen when touching up the roots)

In that case, unless your hair is already damaged by something else I don't think you'll get any hair falling out (mine didn't anyway)

Does it have bleach in it 😕😕😕 I have this and I'm so scared to use it cause my hair doesn't take bleach very good it disintegrates in bleach

I'm pretty sure it does have bleach. I've heard Olaplex is good (not sure if that's how it's spelt) for reversing bleach damage

It depends what colour you're hoping for, you might have to lighten your hair 2-3 times if you want it to be light blonde...and of course, if you do this, leave three weeks between each session to avoid damaging your hair

It should be ok if you're adding pink on top, they also do a lightener + twist range with a few different pink shades which might be easier x
