It's always mind-blowing that people think "short cuts" will still get the same results. She could've lightened her the first go-around if she had use foils for small sections and left it on for 40 mins. Then just used the rest of her money for a good hair mask. Like I'm not a hairdresser, but I do my hair at home following steps from youtube, and it helps A LOT.

@@HM-kf2od I've heard asian hair is one of the most difficult to lighten. I'm not asian but I have Black thick curly (2b) hair and alot of it. It helps to use cream bleach and 30 developer for 45min -1hr. I do the 1oz bleach to 2 oz developer ratios. I put in the bleach then mix 1 oz of developer at a time to get a thick consistency. I also do small like 3/4 inche sections of hair with foils for 45 mins-1 hour. After 20 mins, I check the foils and usually add more developer. I also hair dry for like 5 mins after each application. I have to bleach twice to get to like 9 level. I usually go purple after the first round and then grey once it's to a level 9. I could do a third for pale blonde but then I switch to 20 developer and for like 15 mins or so. I also do heavy conditioning after first wash and invest in repair treatments. It's like $75 dollars after each round (bleach, developer, toner/dye, conditioner) but it also looks great and I don't drop $200 on someone possibly leaving me with a jacked up job which happens because of how dark and curly my hair is. I only reccomend this for untouched hair because otherwise, yeah it'll break off. Also, for toners I recommend the EQ Redken toners and solution. Great quality and available in Ebay and walmart just do research on KZbin and follow through all advice :)

She did wear a wig but they did also dye her hair for the last season. Granite her hair was a lot shorter (long story) but they did it to cut down on hair and makeup time.

Damn I wasn't coming for the girl. I just thought it was funny what she said. Everyone's made hair mistakes in their life's. Ive made a few. When i was nine I didn't want bangs anymore so I cut them off. And when I was a teen I wanted deep brown hair and had blonde hair. So I bought deep brown box hair dye. We can all guess what happened there.

okay- Emilia Clarke talked about the insane damage she had and she was working with professionals who do major transformations for a living. She only did that for I think 2 seasons (if that) and then said enough, cut her hair short and they wigged her for the rest of the show which is why her hair styles also get more intricate (they wanted to highlight her rise with Dany's hair and clothing but her natural hair said no so wigs!). SO no, you wont get Dany hair- its super professional with a team dedicated to it and most of the show its a wig. Platinum is very hard to do and maintain and takes so much work and inherent damage to the process. People do it gradually, people have professionals!!!!!!! if you can do it at home, and you are happy with it, great on you hun but most people, that aint happening.
