The best thing about the car is you can tell your friends you have a Hellcat.. Then I thought about downgrading to a Scat Pack again, but just couldn't bring my to do it.. I mean, bro, it's a Hellcat! Good video bro. I'm a ScatPack owner (Shaker hood & Sunroof). Don't see a many at all of this package in LA, SOCal area. But, my Ride has plenty enough power for me. It's nothing on a highway to burn someone real quick than laugh as they finally catch-up and pass me up. The engine stock sound is nice and beefy. It has enough torque and ft-lbs to handle its business. Lowered the vehicle about a 1 1/2" so it sits pretty. Not always easy finding the rims I like, with lug pattern but, I usually always replace the rims, from stock. Everybody's Challenger looks the same, same rims. If I repaint the vehicle, gone definitely get the whole front scratch free as you did. I have enough rock-dings n stuff. This is my 1st muscle car, and toughest engine I've ever owned so, I can't compare it. But trust, I have plenty power. Good perspective. I am with you on your line of thinking I actually think the Scatpack is more fun to drive. Hellcat cost more on all aspects, insurance, fuel, maintenance. It is the pinnacle of the Dodge muscle cars though and so many of us want one as the logical progression. Hope the family is well and wishing you a good holiday season! Good ishh! I would love a Scat Pack still. Hellcat is the dream car but by time I'm ready financially to get one Dodge will have already stopped making them and there will be some hybrid or EV version car out lol. Test driving the Hellcats (707hp, 717hp, and Redeye 797hp) they are all amazing cars 🤩 but the traction issue gets old fast. Super fun but is also annoying at the same time. My tuned SRT8 300c 6.1L has 465hp to the crank and I still have traction issue especially in this cold season. Spinning robs the fun out of everything 😅.

I think the 35K pricepoint for a Scat is a little off. Obviously options are a huge part of that but I had a brand new 2017 that cost 53K (some options) and I just got a '21 that came out to 63K (fully loaded). "Base Model" Scats are running mid 40's I believe. I only bring this up because I completely understand your point of not wanting to damage the vehicle due to price.

I was thinking of getting the Scat but I see them everywhere all the time the Hell cat you just dont see them often, as far as using all the power where I live there is speed cameras all over the city so it dont matter what you drive, buy a rader detector hit the interstate and then open it up.

All of this is true. On a side note, when you go to get new tires, jet the Michellins. They are better than the Pirellis for day to day use. They hook up better on the street, are quieter and get better mileage if you can control your foot.

Do you favor wide body over the regular body. I thought I would like the wide body better, but nope. The dealership I went to had all the trims. I was able to see with my own eyes the difference in size, and all. I spent some time viewing/ comparing. I settle for the regular body. The wide body nice, but it's basically the puffed out tire-wheel base that made it look beefier. I chose regular body as my opinion, it just say better, and when the whole Ride is evenly lowered, looks killer. So, she looks beefy & pretty. The wide body, mostly beefy/ chunky. Hellcats sound sweet just going down the highway. I know I can beef up my ScatPack to sound similar but, I am fine with the stock sound. When I want a little more, I switch over to track-mode. She sounds so good when she crackles. Question: do you know how to make it crackle like that when you decide? It kinda just happens at times with me, the crackle. But would be nice if I can do it when I choose. Thanks for video bro man. And that wide-body Hellcat is a good lookin piece of meat. 💪🏻💯. ScatPack Life

Great points. I had a 2016 Scat Pack Shaker with a 6 speed manual. My best traction limited 0-60 was 4.2 seconds. This is in Florida with low elevation and good road surfaces and no snow. Ever. Then I test drove and bought a 2019 Challenger 1320. The biggest difference other than the hard shifting auto tranny is the traction I get with the 1320 exclusive 275 Drag Radials. Huge difference. My best 0-60 is 3.6 seconds bone stock. Again, this is Florida so it is a more friendly environment for the drag radials. I too am paranoid of door dings and scratches. And from what I have researched, the 1320 could tie or beat any Hellcat to 60mph. I have always fantasized about getting a Hellcat, but your point shave struck home. Other than the bragging rights of owning a Hellcat, I wonder if it would really be any faster than my 1320 which MSRP was 49k instead of 80k. The tires have 7500 miles on them and still have plenty of tread and traction. My Scat Pack before would go through the lousy 245's in 15k miles with the same driving habits. So to sum it up, I think I made a good decision with the 1320. But the temptation of the Hellcat is always there. Thanks for the great video. I posted videos about the 1320 on my channel if anyone is interested. Not to mention the 1320 is much more rare and exclusive than a Hellcat. Only 1054 were produced in 2019 and even less in 2020 due to the covid shutdown. So There is that going too.
