Thanks J! I'm trying to be thorough but not redundant on these tutorials. My aim with each one of these is showing everyone how to make something cool in a short time. All about building their confidence while doing small projects initially.

At 3:50 you ask if there's a quicker way to select every other face. - Select the leftmost face and CTRL-click the rightmost one so that they are all selected and an outer one has the focus. Then just use the Mesh > Checker Deselect menu. Job done!

This is one of those things that people normally figure exist but don’t know how to search for and it takes a wonderful community like the one we have where we share advice from our experience working in the program.
