Sci-fi Doesn't Get Much Better Than This | Dune Part 2 Review

The director mixed everything up. As a stand-alone sci-fi movie, it's a good movie, but as Dune, it's not good at all. The 6-part miniseries is still on top. The book is perfect science fiction, I think they have enough money to bring the book to the screen, but they didn't. Imagine Jedi without light saber and force, that's exactly the new Dune... Zendaya should have stayed playing angry teenagers.

But respectfully, i think that the goal with these movies is to reach the broadest possible audience and since more people haven't read the book than people that did, this had to be made in a way that it can appeal to everybody. And maybe fans of the book don't like this too much, so they are the unfortunate victims here...
