That was pretty good, although I thought it said that if you use it too much, you die and this guy went through at least 20 time travel scenarios and maybe thousands more trying to unlock the box.

Watch the movie "Next" with Nicolas Cage. This short is almost a blatant rip off of that movie.
@badger14videos7 жыл бұрын
Exactly. Cage's character generally could see 2 minutes forward, which allowed him to escape dicey situations, just as this guy did. People who put this together should have been candid and credited "Next" for inspiration. Zero chance none of these people ever saw "Next."

Thank you for being part of the worldwide crew that is preparing the public. Although I agree with other commenters that time is only a construct of this 3-d paradigm, (to keep us enslaved by such a powerful distraction) I also understand that we must help our fellow terrans in the best way they can understand. The general public, sad to say, must be spoonfed ideas - but without coming from an intellectually elitist attitude.

It's nice to see a time travel theme that doesn't fit the common mold. However, I did notice a similarity to Edge of Tomorrow. Must have been simultaneous development in parallel timelines that converged in ours. What luck! And Vance's sideburns were epic.

Powerful, you have just made my manifest, I am not alone in thinking that time can be manipulated by our forethoughts. We can pick any time in our past and relive it, and that is the question, does that mean we have learned from it? There is no time in our past that I would want to revisit. We can do Science, we can send men to the Moon, but our base stupidity will doom us all. To end this, will have to say the US Educational system has created a dumbing down of the US and we get morons who's only work experience is being told to them by a director.
@SkyLeach6 жыл бұрын
Good film, but think about it. There is no 'them', it's just more 'us' all the way down. Things don't get better just by fighting, you have to be fighting *for* something and the enemy is ourselves. We have to have a plan for how to fix ourselves or we're fighting to replace ourselves with ourselves, which is kindof insane.

Just one thing. You assume "time" as such even exists, outside of the largest, unitary scale (whole universe as single brick). What if it doesn't? That's not exactly a virus talking either. :) What if "time" as such is only a thought process we _Learn_, the way Peek-a-Boo teaches us "object permanence" as infants? Sure, learning the thought process has its uses--you can't get to cause and effect without *sequence* after all. So no "time" ever means no logic. No consistent memory or personality either. But how do we know "time"? Seriously. Everything goes back to our senses and how we extend them. And our senses are fixed at a _natural_ perceptual framerate, for the modal human being, of 60 frames per second. Some people perceive things slightly faster, others slower, and many aren't taught to distinguish between the visual of 60 frames per second and 30 frames. Dogs perceive things at roughly 100 frames per second. House flies? 300 frames per second. Sure, some of this is linked to lifespan. From what we can perceive. But how do we know? **lol** Look, I'm not some "jedi" here. Hardly. I'm just someone who has been prone to both "deja vu" repeating loops and the Mandela Effect a lot in his life. 3, maybe 4 times on the Mandela Effect, _dozens_ of times with the "deja vu" thing. And I'm not saying I have perfect recall or any of that. What I'm saying is: even at the unitary level (brick-universe, universe as one object) some researchers are wondering if there's multiple _arrows_ of time, going in different relative directions (to each other). Last time I checked, there were 3, maybe 4 solid multiple-universe theories going out there, and even so, there's no reason to believe time is entirely linear or one-directional. But yeah, don't overthink it if you do in fact _jump ahead_ or fall back by whole entire minutes. Yes, even if you're sure your clocks and watches and smartphones have correct time. Don't overthink it. The problem with remembering the future is that you then have to anticipate your own past--memory and personality. Meaning: forcing the whole "OMG Time Travel !!1!" thing really is a ticket to Crazy-Town. The subjective experience of it is a risk to your mental health.
