About releasing the Storage: The Storage will be released to the public once I finish the video. Currently I’m working on the script and also want to fix some bugs that I found while using the storage for the past weeks. Be patient guys! You will receive the world download and litematic in about 1-2 weeks.

I prefer for you to not reset the counter, look at xisuma from hermitcraft, they start in a fresh world every time and he still keeps the numbers from season to season. He had a bunch of cool milestones thanks to that Also I think resetting the counter can be even more off putting because if someone sees you with full enchanted netherite and this huge storage system and illegal blocks on episode 1 what will they think?
@bananya60202 жыл бұрын
to be honest i don't like xisuma's huge episode at all, it makes it hard just to search like "xisuma hermitcraft s3 e1" for nostalgia reasons because i need to scroll through all of them then. but at the same time i agree that resetting the counter would be offputting for the same reason; i can't just search around easily anymore as i need to remember when s1 ended and s2 started

He was already in the late game when he started season 1 of Scicraft, so I don't see the problem. If new viewers are curious about how they got all the illegal blocks they can always just watch a couple of the older videos.

@TheUnluckyLee2 жыл бұрын
I can see the appeal of having the 'fresh start' mentality of something alike to S2E1, however as it's not a complete fresh start, possibly using a notation such as "2-175" or similar. That way it has denoted it is Season 2, but still shows it's continuing from end of previous season...? Either that or something like "S2 E1 (175)" could also work to link the two together. I will keep on watching either way though so makes no difference to me haha :)

@@ienfrg Though that is a true point in some regards, and I do agree with you for the most part; I also feel it might become confusing when they are contiuning a world without already having the denotion from the start. I’m on team start from episode 1, but just have a disclaimer for new viewers that this is a new season, a new start, but not a new world. I recently got interested in technical Minecraft and started watching Scicraft. I started with the peaceful series specifically because it was more recent, and only really started watching the main series because peaceful ended. I might go back and watch it from the beginning one day just because I’m bored, but for the most part, I’m not too inclined to do so because I know that some stuff is no longer possible in the game because of how much it’s changed over the years

Hi! Amazing work, as always! About the episode numbers, I personaly don't care: I will watch anyways, whether it is E175 or S2E1. But *maybe S2E1 would be better to attract a new audience*? I think it would be easier for a newcomer to start with season 2, rather than to have this feeling "I'm watching an episode, but to understand I would need to watch the 174 previous episodes". Also for you, explaining things assuming that everyone knows what you are talking about (ie if you choose E175) is different from explaining things as if people are new to your channel (ie if you choose S2E1).

One thing about the storage system that I am not sure yet if I understand it correctly: Let's say we have three people using it at once. One person uses the bulk call function and the two other people both trigger a slice to request 54 new boxes from bulk. How does the system handle this without skipping a request? I assume that the slice request and the player request are linked and not just via the priority "brain" shown later in the video? So that the slice request kinda adds two items to the lime shulker box from the player request (Or rather the system behind it) and then the overall system just does these items/requests one by one?
