I 200% agreed with you, I always emphasize customer service regardless of the product and pricing. It happened to me also, once I drove to one of the Tea House Cafeteria in Dubai and the South Indian Owner came to ask me nicely and served me a cup of tea along with a smile and good talks exchanged for just 1 Dirham, but that good behavior turned me one of their loyal customers for next 5 years.

I bought double door fridge from Currys retailer in Uk..They deliver at free,bring into my flat and then its not fixed in my kitchen, they took it back with 0 cost. and bring smaller size, again deliver it free and bring to my kitchen in 3rd floor flat and fix it free.. This is called coustumer service..Now all my life definately i will go to currys for product.

Wat i see amongst Pakistanis compared to other nationalities is a lack of presentation. Whether its restaurants, shops or any other business. On the other hand, if u see the presentation of Indians, Nipalis, Phililpines, Arabic nationals of any middle easter country, they r 5 star in the presentation and cleanliness. Living abroad made me realize that its our attitude which is making our country suffer, its ppl who make a nation not the piece of land and wen i saw other nationals while living abroad, I clearly understood the reason of our downfall. Its not just the business sector where v loose bcz of our laziness and non-seriousness, its even in behavior, the arrogance, lack of respect especially towards ur fellow citizens, dishonesty in ur jobs, v lack in almost every department of life.

All super store and clothing brands around the world have policy not only to exchange but REFUND in FULL within 90 days of purchase e.g Walmart, Home Depot, Best Buy without asking any single reason!! Yes, Dishonest people do.misuse this policy but still these stores have such refund policy. In Pakistan, shrewd cunning shopkeepers start arguing or insult the buyers when it comes to refund. This is one of the important aspect of customer service that is also Sunnah of prophet pbuh, yes!! which westerner businesses have adapted. Shame on our business community who display board on shop entrance that they do not exchange goods and refund to buyers.
