Excellent!! In one video you have tackled at least three things: 1) Solar & lunar eclipse including light refraction. 2) What old civilisations thought it was and how due to science we now know better. 3) Even thousands of years ago this was one of the signs philosophers used to know the earth is spherical.

Oh how great to check this material. So convenient that the sun is exactly at the required distance to match on perspective the size of the moon. What are the odds for that. How nice right? I wonder if you can also bring an explanation when a solar eclipse and a moon eclipse happen at the same time as has been recorded many times. that would be awesome. Thanks for your effort!

2:20 When the two types of shadows cast by the sun are being explained, why are they depicted as triangles? Why not as a single cylindrical shadow with straight edges? Like a 2D tube? Is the sun a discriminating laser beam of some sort?

What??? I can't understand Your're questions!
@alexfarias51562 жыл бұрын
Exactly, these ignorant 🐑 believe everything.
@AstralApple2 жыл бұрын
@@laxmiparida4119 Do you see all the triangles of light in the diagram at 2:23? That is preposterous to think the sun could funnel its light into a point, effectively creating laser beams.
@AstralApple2 жыл бұрын
@@alexfarias5156 Amen
@sailorman8668 Жыл бұрын
@@AstralApple The purpose of the diagram at 2:23, is just to illustrate how the sun's light will be obscured by the moon, creating the different types of shadows on the earth's surface. It's rather naive of you to then state, based on this diagram, that there was ever any intention to suggest that the sun is funneling its light into a point. The sun's light is being created over its entire surface obviously and shining in all directions. If you still don't understand what the intention of the diagram is and why the different shadows are being created, this isn't because there's anything wrong with what's being explained and shown in the animation, but a lack of understanding on your part - YOU are the problem here, not the video.

Hi Abigail, you should get your answer on this link www.scienceabc.com/eyeopeners/why-do-we-sometimes-see-the-moon-during-daytime.html

Where did you get this strange idea from that the moon shouldn't be able to be seen during the daytime. You're not one of these ignorant fools that actually thinks that the moon only 'comes out' at night? LOL.

Because earth is not round and were not rotating around the sun. This is all a lie, the sun and the moon are the same size and they are much smaller than earth.
