I love doing mushrooms on the weekends. As a 52 year old woman going through menopause they have helped with my energy level significantly since I started about 3 months ago. I just take enough (about 1/4 of a gram) to get a nice buzz, A lot cheaper than alcohol, costs about 35 bucks for a quarter in Canada, so that's about 28 trips which last about 6 hours. Added bonus, no hangover ever. I do not use this for any mental illness or therapy, just purely for pleasure. Food tastes so good, music sounds amazing, and walking in nature is awesome. No one even recognizes that I am even high, since it doesn't affect me noticeably. Never had a bad trip yet. Highly recommend it.

I've macro dosed. Lol I found that when I take lower doses, my senses sharpen. There's a zero chance of impairment at the lower doses. The total opposite is true as far as the higher doses go. Inhibition never comes about and the desire to drive or operate heavy machinery is gone. BTW it's sad but true that you might have to go to a young person to get LSD or shrooms. She's right about needing to test the chemicals before use. We now have a slew of research chemicals which are somewhat similar to LSD, marketed as LSD, but NOT LSD. Chemicals like 25i and the 2C class of drugs have a potential for overdose. LSD and magic mushrooms nave no known toxic dose or chemical related deaths. They're actually VERY safe to consume. Even safer than cannabis.

Psych drugs make depression chronic, intractable, and much "suicidal ideation" is a side or withdrawal effect from the psych drugs...glad she found the microdosing, but there is a chance that upon withdrawal from the drugs she could have managed the mood on her own (after a few years of withdrawal - which is not a cake walk). "Mood disorders" are often related to trauma, life challenges, situations, and will resolve without the drugs. Ref: Robert Whitaker, "Anatomy of an Epidemic," as the best resource, but there are hundreds. Psychiatry is a farce.

@JanCarol115 жыл бұрын
@@rodryalcocer read carefully. I was talking about psych drugs, not psychedelics. Psych drugs can cause the very symptoms they are meant to "treat," making depression worse, inducing mania, akathisia, psychosis - they are hard to withdraw from but it is possible. I postulate that this woman could have escaped the psych drugs without microdosing - her "chronic depression" likely made worse by them.

Im open to microdosing and have wanted to try it but it anyone who suffers from depression should also look at what they are eating, there are many foods who are known to cause depression but it comes down to what kind of food intolerance you suffer from i guess but this intolerances does not always show up on blood tests. My recommendation is to take out the most common things we are allergic to out of your diet and see if there is any results. I know one big one of depression and mental health problems is gluten and apparently you can suffer from symptoms up to ten weeks after intake.

How often were you taking it? Did you have any positive effects in the beginning and then it tapered off? Did you suddenly stop taking them and notice the depression seemed more pronounced? I took them every night at bedtime. I'd get everything done, eat a good dinner, because you're not trying to trip Then, right at bedtime when I was getting in bed I'd eat 1 gram of mushrooms. You go to sleep before any effect could happen. I never felt any effects from taking it, but I noticed a very pronounced reduction in my anxiety. I don't suffer from depression as much as anxiety. It was a very noticeable difference. Since I was doing it everyday, I developed a tolerance and it tapered off. I still had reduced anxiety, but you could tell it was returning. So, I stopped suddenly to lower my tolerance and noticed some depression where I wasnt before. I think its just a matter of chemical changes in the brain from suddenly stopping. After just a couple days it was gone, so I assumed it was similar to the usual chemical depression you get after a strong trip.
