Great video. I could smell the water. Only because my memories of water skiing involve water shooting up my nose for what seemed like an eternity while I attempted to plane using an under-powered boat. I can still imagine the discomfort and smell the water. Water and I are not friends. I think that's why I quit water polo in high school and played basketball instead. I was short, but at least I didn't drown. Cheers.

That was a fun one. The 10° is certainly an oversimplification, but not an entirely unreasonable one.

Something I've been curious about for a while is regarding your map in the background of your videos - is there a specific reason for blue shading in some regions/countries? Always find the videos you post very interesting - thanks for sharing!

I don’t think there really is, the map only has two colors so I guess they mix it up so the different countries stand out.

I don't think the math takes getting up into account. If you were to accelerate to 3MPH while on a dock before entering the water it might work at that velocity.

Nice, this is helping me in trying to determine if my wakeboard tower is strong enough...I'm trying to find the rope tension during a deep water start for an amateur young wakeboarder. Anyone has an idea? My guess is 40-60 kg. Of such individuals, who could hold much more weight in two hands? Anyone?

A slight point off for mixing metric and American systems...

The jet ski measured speed in MPH so that was the easiest way to test, but I did try to use metric as much as possible.
