@@scienceisdope Back then I thought it was actually magic. They had sessions for the whole day. We used to meditate(?) idk if that is the right word, but they used to play some sounds of some frequency. That was supposed to enter our brains and activate the neurons. We also had to recite weird poems(?). The phrases had no meaning. We had lectures on brain functions, but I can't remember the contents. It was of 15 days, and by the 10th day our brains were "activated". We did the whole putting on blindfolds thing. I thought i was able to see the objects because my brain was activated lol. This comment is so dumb. 🤦🏻♂️ If the child has developed an intelligence that can perceive without eyes, it means that the same intelligence helps them to solve the problem easily. Have you not heard of Ramanujan? He used to say that the Devi has given him those equations in his dream. I don't believe it was a Devi, but I believe that there's a higher intelligence in the world which is beyond man's mind. Humans are about 20,000 years old, their modern science is about 400 years old, and the universe is 13,000,000,000 years old.. yet the most humans (particularly who know Little bit of science) think they are smarter than the universe's intelligence. What if a human taps into that higher intelligence?
@semantimanna82072 жыл бұрын
@@anonymoushandle007 @Tejas Rathore you know intelligence is not this very abstract thing that one can have or not have. Shakespeare is a literary genius and Ramanujan is a mathematical genius. There are some people who are not mentally equipped to look after themselves but they can learn a language is just a few months. None of these is because someone tapped into the 'higher intelligence' but because everyone's brains works in different ways. In fact, there have been some documented cases where people have had their whole personality changed after getting an injury in their head. And about what Ramanujan said, I have no idea what he meant when he said that and I am not going to guess. Nothing will change the fact that he was a revolutionary. Besides this concept of 'higher intelligence' that you are touting about here is a completely different ballgame altogether. That's not what this video or my comment was about. So go comment about it in videos that actually talk about it. My comment was to highlight the stupid notions based on which parents send their kids to such places. Lastly seeing things and solving maths equations occupy different sections of the brain. So honestly, either you are dumb or you are just a troll. Around 4-5 years ago, a similar organization was set up in my native village. They claimed that they could train children to read anything blindfolded through their nose(same thing as shown in the video). Around 2-3thousand children enrolled. They were advised not to eat junk food or any kind of meat, as it could make them lose their 'power' to perceive through their noses. I too was a kid back then, probably of age 12 or 13 and interested by that attended one of their sessions. The trainers there first made the students sleep for 1 hour and then played some kind of music which they claimed would activate their brain which would allow them to use other sense organs to see whatever object is put before them without using their eyes. This seemed to work and as a kid, this impressed me very much. People then forgot about it, they never questioned how it 'worked', only now after your video it came back to me. What amuses me is how these scamsters brainwash children into doing all these stuff and what's more intriguing is why these children support these people despite knowing that there is nothing special in this, and don't speak up that they were able to see through the gaps in the blindfold. Oh and thanks man for exposing this bs. Keep up the good work

Initially for 2 weeks I couldn't see a single thing, but then the next week I could see colours flashing my eyes idk how but I could feel it, but when I used to practice the same thing at home I couldn't see a single thing, and then Mam asked me to read words but I couldn't and I finally left the course and 12k went down the drain.

I just want to say......I have attended a seminar with Sir Narendra Nayak, and later after the show, I even had the chance to sit right next to him and have the lunch. And I even shared the stage with him for the demonstration of a stunt! I was just 13 then, and now at the age of 19, I feel so lucky about meeting such a person IRL

👍👀 Thank you. Also for giving credit where it is due with the interview with Prof. Nayak. Prof. Nayak must be happy that he can pass the torch on to someone like you and for you (and many more) to keep the fire of rationality, reason and questioning burning.

I was around 11, when I saw a movie of Nasiruddin shah in which he acted a blind man doing all his chres himself. It intrigued me so much that I started doing things with my eyes closed. Things like Taking out my books, keeping them back in place, walking around my house without falling, pouring water in glass accurately. I must have activated my midbrain in six months but I can clearly say that it was largely memory at work. Then touch. And certainly, I couldnt read my book With closed eyes😂.
@Monika0207s3 күн бұрын
By touching we can identify many things.. touching, hearing , listening and seeing all are our senses.. However to read and to identify colours we need to see them 😂

This scam actually tried to make its way in Nepal few years back and we did this trial session with bunch of other kids and parents. This scam part was main objective but other training were actually brain engaging. Thank God we never pursue it after that trial session because all of didn't think it was worthy, this is only gonna be useful if we get blind and it felt gimmick too. They even try to put you in rush telling you can't learn this after you reach 18 or 16 so parents will pursue it immediately. The season was so weird.

Yes! That's the claim of Art of Living guru Sri Sri Ravishankar that they're teaching visually impaired kids to actually see with this blindfold technique. No eye surgery nothing. Simply using Prajna Yoga (that's what they call it), visually impaired kids are able to recognize colors and read!

My parents also made me do this course: 1) we used to do meditation for 3 hours straight with irritating music 😑 2) use to do crazy dance and hand movement in name of exercise smh They claimed that this will boost children's minds and give them the superpower to recognize color, text, and even ride vehicles blindfolded 🤦, I knew it was a scam from the beginning but I can't win an argument against my parents 😂.

Omg , mine too , and when i was not able to tell , my father just said it's my fault . Because they wanted to show off me to relative like it was such a waste of time , as a kid i thought i was weak for not being able to learn this like how they do it on tv . But i realised it after that there are better things i can learn rather than reading without eyes .

Bro thanks for this video I am grade 11 student (Science) and back in time people like this came in my city for demos like this in order to grab middle class desperate parents' money. They showed similiar things in the seminar and I was Stunned by those. My cousin sister joined the cource and started doing these "Superbrain" Things and I to this day was so confused how in the hell this was even possible. You cleared it and thanks for that

My mother also made me attend this 11k session. They told us this work for 15 or less year old kids which make me think now that it was a scam as small kids would tell lie of seeing blindfolded due to the fear of parents and the money they paid. In that they made us do meditation, zumba, mental exercises, watch some videos, sleep. There was a blind kid also. They made him try this again and again But it kind looked like he used to guess images. There was show on history tv18 called omg! Ye mera india. In that also there was a boy who was practising this for years and he also drove scooty blindfolded and made record. I am shocked!!!

This scam happened about 1.5 months ago at my uncle's home (but they don't know about this scam), they gave scammers around 30,000 rupees for their 2 children 6 classes , scammer promised that they will increase their children's mental capacity and learning and creative power, also they did this blindfold scam to make them believe. They did the exact same things, i was 110% sure, this is a scam but i didn't did anything.
