Celcius has a scale of temperature in which water freezes at 0° and boils at 100° under standard conditions. Usually room temperature is 25-27 degree Celcius. Celcius is easier to apply because increase of degree Celcius is the same as the increase of 1 Kelvin which is the primary Unit of temperature that used in physics.

Ehh, that's a huge exaggeration and misleading. His calculation are probably not factoring, population decline of developed nations, solar tech, and future energy efficient technology. It will be extremely hard to get the Earth 3 degree Celsius hotter. The temperature of the Earth is logarithmic, not linear, the Earth is constantly radiating heat into outer space. If we want to get the Earth 1-degree hotter every human would need to kill a tree and make a campfire in order to produce enough CO2 to do that. However, I'm still an advocate for Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, so everyone plant a potato in their back yard please. We actually have enough resources to accommodate 100 billion humans comfortably, if you force 7 billion people into Australia there is enough room to give everyone a huge house and backyard.
