Fascinating !!! The more time I spend Looking at these photos, the more I begin to Understand them. I'm 86 and NOW discovering what it may have been like. Humans need water, food, sleep....and HOW to feed themselves, so THESE photos would show the things that humans MOSTLY need. Basics!

That's interesting because I remember the legend of Homer's Odyssey the Cyclops. Part of the legend has the cyclope sheltering his flock of sheep inside his cave for the night.

I think it's a possibility. Perhaps more a record of hunted animals, and there seasons. No sure that 'farming' began that early. 🇬🇧

I have no doubts about prehistoric farming, astronomy and other cool stuff. I also see prehistoric peoples as smooth, savvy and knowing what they’re doing, unlike that poor, waddling slob in animal skins in that“Quest for Fire” clip that everyone keeps recycling. The wolves would race to the smell, hoping to devour him before he freezes to death.

I never accepted the out of Africa theory. I believe that wherever the cradle of civilization is located, would also be the location of where humanity first began.

I believe the last ice age lasted about 80,000 years, so 23,000 years ago would not be "pre ice age."

someday, someone will locate a stone building from today. and all will wonder at the use of these huge glass 'screens' hanging everywhere, some perhaps, with cables hanging off of them...what could they be? what did they mean? a way to worship their gods? could they have been used for communication from one to another? did they contribute to the downfall of their civilization? will the future people wonder at all the indestructible plastic they find gathered in huge pits and piles? why would they keep them is such a dangerous way? in the future they know those things are toxic, so surely that participated in the downfall of the past....and where are the remains of those people? why do their dwellings have ornate urns of ashes in places of honor? could they have actually burned their loved ones and kept them from releasing their spirits by capturing them and keeping them? what answers will they find about us in the future?

According to fundamental Christians the bible gives a time line that proves the earth is six thousand years old,so those cave paintings couldn't possible be as old as claimed,that would be akin to labelling the bible as no more than a collection of fairy tales,myths and legends.
