An international team of scientists used the Event Horizon Telescope to obtain the first image of a black hole. They say the image of the center of the galaxy M87 shows a bright ring formed as light bends in the intense gravity around a black hole that is 6.5 billion times more massive than the sun. Watch the announcement.

@Sumanth K S how is it "fake news"? A large star burns out its fuel, it collapses in on itself from its own gravity. The mass of the star is compressed into a tiny point with extremely power gravitational pull. What is "fake" about it? Unless your comment was just a lame attempt at trolling.

This black hole image was built from radio waves as they are the only from of electromagnetic radiation that can pass through the accretion disc, but a Dyson sphere would emit mainly in the infra-red so it should be possible to image one if we knew where one was and aim telescopes at it, but it might be more difficult than getting this picture of a black hole.

*Filling in the blanks?* *This EHT M87 images is actually a computer Generated Virtual image using just 1 billionth of the data received.* As stated by one of the researchers; Combining the EHT data still isn’t enough to render a vivid picture of a supermassive black hole. “The reason we can reconstruct images, even though we don’t have 100 percent of the information, is because we know what images look like” , in general. Some will say this is fraudulent or just scientific Confirmation bias.
