Nev was sitting with Hanna in her office, and Hubbard came by and announced that every time one of the new students committed “out tech” they’d be thrown overboard. Everyone laughed because they thought he was joking, but when one looked at Hubbard he never smiled with his eyes, and we knew then he was being serious.

I second that!!! I was always so worried seeing obviously manipulative Scientology advertising growing up aimed at us kids that looked like a navy poster in Victoria then seeing them when they were active in Melbourne near parliament I think it was all the time. They still have a place in ascot vale it says on the internet. I am curious where the Scientologists are hiding in Melbourne, the ones that weren’t shipped away. Maybe at kate cebrano’s house hahahah I’d love to actually see them try sell me dianetics with what I know these days though. I would have a bit of fun with that. My mate did used to lead them on and antagonise them, pretend he was interested have them try drag him to the e meter then walk away without saying a word hahaha. Steve has fought hard and passionately, which is truly noble.
