I think Kong Louie is the "Origins" for why Kong and Godzilla are on the surface.

I think the son of king idea is probably already scrapped. Adam did throw out that title literally 2 weeks after GvK came out. Was most likely a tactic to get fans interested after the film released especially cuz the Origins title was actually somewhat official in some of the BTS pictures. Plus origins makes more sense for this movie’s approach than son of kong

Maybe Kong that we know and see and love is actually the sim of this new guy , maybe he is the dad and that would explain why he has some powers and is kinda bigger and stronger then his own parents that we thought was his parents

Son of kong was just a rumored title and nothing more beyond that. Origins is just a code name for the movie prioe to the official title same way the code name for godzilla vs kong was apex before that movie got it's title revealed.

I really hope this evil Kong isn't the main villain of the movie.. Rather have him as the initial villain and then later reveal the real big bad. (Hoping that big bad is either SpaceGodzilla or Destoryah).

You got the order of the Titan's be exiled backwards. The Gojira drove the Kongs and Iwii out to Skull Island and then they too began to die off, likely due to the Mutos/Muto Prime and the later war with Ghidorah. At least thats the way the GvK novel and the two comics made it seem.

Son of Kong is a garbage idea. We didn’t even get a proper sequel movie to Kong skull island. It just jumped straight into GvK which felt way too rushed especially after Godzilla just killed King Ghidorah. Kong needs a proper solo film and this should have been it and have taken place before GvK to build up proper hype. King of the hollow earth vs king of the monsters.

thats what you get when you get a mediocre at best director and these movies trying to be a connected cinematic universe. They rush out projects that they know main audiences and dumb dumb fans will eat up instead of actually taking time to put care and effort in these movies. I said it once and ill say it again, godzilla 2014 and K:SI 2017 are the only movies so far with actual care and effort put in.
