Fun fact : The spinosaurus from Jurassic Park 3 is still juvenile and is the same as that of the Cretaceous colony where it will reach adulthood with a size of 16.7m length and 7m height, the largest land-based carnivorous dinosaur in the franchise.

Spinosaurus was created in the Amalgam test, by InGen scientists who were secretly experimenting on dinosaurs for 9 months straight on Isla Sorna (there were some Biosyn employees infiltrated among the InGen scientists). Spinosaurus suffered cruelty from the humans. The plane hit Spinosaurus' sail, and Spinosaurus started chasing the humans because he saw them as a threat to his territory. Spinosaurus is extremely aggressive and territorial.

It just occurred to me that when they landed, the plane was not turned around and ready for takeoff. Given where they were, I would make it the first thing to do before even leaving the plane. If it has been, no wreck, and Cooper ends up the only fatality. The plot has to move along, so plane wrong direction it is.
