Scion TC Complete Remote Start Install DIY How to!

In this video I go over installing a remote starter system in a 2015 scion TC. This is applicable for all 2011-2016 Scion TC’s with key start.

Hi. I have question about a wiring harness that is installed on my 2013 tC. I bought it awhile ago from a Toyota dealer but they had no clue. Do you have a way I can send you photos and you might be able to tell me what it is for before I get it removed. I am very curious. Thanks!

Please let me know one thing, Do we need a digital sound processor for better quality if we already have a aftermarket pioneer Z5090bt head unit installed. Will a ground zero processor help improve sound quality ? Or the pioneer headunit is enough ?

No need. Unless you are super anal with SQ. But for everyday listening, sounds great

It’s a very simple install with only a few wires needed to be connected for it to be fully functional. What exactly do you need help with?

Confused about when you spliced the wires into the obd. Which ones and how

Do you have the kit? If you scan the QR code it will tell you exactly. I breezed over it because trying to film it did not turn out to well lol. Sorry I did not cover it in detail

So if you're not gonna install the hood pin just cut off and tape the pink/black wire with the rest? You'll still be able to open the hood with the car on?

I am having trouble with the step when the module is trying to connect. It gets to the blue and red light being on and after i press the program button twice where they start blinking, I turn the ignition to "ON" and the light blinks red instead of blue. Did you have any problems like this?

@@filibertodominguez8036 it did, i grounded the clutch switch, but when i was installing it something went wrong and i have lost accessory power to the key and now the car wont start so i had to wire in basically a kill switch that hardwires the accessory power so my car will run. im unsure is this is because im terrible at wiring or if its because the remote starter. all i know is my car still to this day no longer has accessory power to the key.
