When you remove the visors holding clips or whatever it's called, I mean the one you broke, those are removed by twisting 90 degrees to the right then the come right out easily.

I hear putting sound proofing on the underside if the car helps, a video on that would be cool
@BrunerTuner Жыл бұрын
That's a really interesting thing I've not heard, seems like it would almost be a moisture trap unless it's the spray on type?
@richardgomez8010 Жыл бұрын
@@BrunerTuner I meant to say the underside of the hood. Yeah underneath the car would be a nightmare
@BrunerTuner Жыл бұрын
Lol Okay that makes much more sense! I could see that reducing vibration and engine noise. An interesting idea!

@@BrunerTuner I was thinking using spray stuff to coat the inside if the fender liners maybe the wheel wheel and see what difference that makes. I'm replacing mine anyway so I think I'm going to try it out and make a video.

I have a question about where the sunroof connects, I forgot, help please where on the dashboard does it connect?
@BrunerTuner Жыл бұрын
Hi, do you mean where is the switch? It's on the roof panel where the light is

I disconnected the cables from the board now I don't know where the cables connect I forgot help@@BrunerTuner

Is it possible to replace the sunroof motor by just only removing the dome light? I see everyone removing the entire headliner.
@BrunerTuner4 ай бұрын
I have no idea, honestly. Didn't pay one lick of attention to that while I was in there.

Hope this was found helpful! Just remember that there's a whole build series of this car coming soon!

How did you put the hand grips back? I’m having so much trouble lol
@BrunerTuner Жыл бұрын
Dude it's such a pain lol!! I just did it the other day. You need to pull those metal clips from the holes (you need to fold the tabs on each side to pull it out) and then put those through the handle itself while it's off, and then put the plastic clips through that, and then go put the assembly into the headliner. You might have to really hit those things to push em in, they really didn't want to go back!
@kd3623 Жыл бұрын
@@BrunerTuner i eventually figured it out. So simple, but yet so frustrating at the same time lol
@BrunerTuner Жыл бұрын
@@kd3623 absolutely it is lol. I'm having fun trying to put those velvet trim pieces back on the sunroof trim

@@BrunerTuner oh those are a pain too. Best part is your arms starting to burn from holing up after the 17th try haha. Have you gotten it yet? I found the best way it to start at a corner. That way you know the positioning is close.
@BrunerTuner Жыл бұрын
Dude absolutely they are, and then your fingers are so sorry from trying to press those in place! I got the rear one, but I'm going to try to tackle the front one today. Thanks man, I'll try from the corner lol.

I have a 2012, have you had any issues with your sunroof closing ?

I have not, but I know that's not totally uncommon. What's the issue like for yours, is it getting stuck part way through closing?

tbh, its been a year since i opened it because I've been avoiding going through that stress lol but I'm pretty sure it was getting stuck half way. I ended up finding someone else that had used electrical tape in the panel because it was just a contact issue. I'm gonna try that this week and hopefully it works.
@BrunerTuner Жыл бұрын
Lol I feel that, easier to just not use it. It's honestly not too hard if you can just find the time and motivation to do it. Hopefully that fixes it, good luck on the work! ✌️

Hey Man, I am a recent TC owner and i'm slowly looking to do some modifications to my car, do you know where I can find an "A" pillar that will hole the 2-1/6 gauges? I'm looking to add a temp gauge and a train horn to my car. Please advise, and happy new year!
@BrunerTuner Жыл бұрын
How's it going man! Congrats on the car, you're gonna love it. I unfortunately do not, that's not a mod I've looked into. Because it's got the flat a pillar gauges, that would be difficult. I almost feel like you'd need someone to custom 3d print you one!

Do you have a video on how you did the red inserts on the door? Id love to change mine from the stock gray piece.
@BrunerTuner Жыл бұрын
I do not, but id like to make a video. I think I'm going to have my neighbor reupholster it for me in suede or something. It was good at first, but the fabric didn't stay put over the years and it's fading and wearing poorly.
