a fight I know i will fight till the day I die: measuring the Kessel run as an achievement in parsecs actually makes sense. the Kessel run is a smuggling route through a cluster of black holes. most smugglers would try to run that route safely, making their route longer to avoid the black holes. Han is confident of the speed of his ship (the entire point of the line where he days it) and is in fact so confident he's willing to risk running closer to the black holes (and therefore straighter, resulting in a shorter distance, which considering the size of the Kessel cluster is best measured in parsecs) because he knows he's going fast enough to escape their pull. I know no one really cares and it probably wasn't meant that way, but it DOES make sense.

The sperm/centriole answer was particularly surprising! It actually makes you wonder about things that we assume are relevant to all mammals (and in particular, to humans) even though we've only actually observed it in mice. Certainly, it could be that mice are the exception and they developed some mutations which set them apart from other mammals in the most unexpected ways. Or maybe it's humans that are different in some cases and while mice are good model organisms for mammals, you can't find out about certain things without using humans as test subjects.
