I agree. Dong huas are so unique and it’s a breath of fresh air from watching too much anime. The ‘unnecessary trope’ that displayed in every animes is the monologues like BNHA does that all the time. Goddamn!! We don’t NEED to hear out your thoughts! A supposedly five minute fight scene prolonged to half an episode to finish. DBZ does it as well, I can’t fathom what’s with all of the hype with the transformation scenes I have no idea.

@@guidomista9197 you mean the dub?:) To me it's ok cuz Chinese is very different from Japanese in terms of pronunciation, moreover the original Chinese dub makes the character identity more iconic, like you can easily tell who is who by their accents, while Jappanese dub feels pretty common( almost the same as most Japanese anime)

As someone from HK, the cantonese he spoke is one of the reason why I love this show, it's just so beautiful to hear! (unlike our television's cantonese dub...) The cantonese mixing mandarin is also just so hilarious and, and it feels so familiar as that's how some of our people attempt to speak mandarin (but they speak with cantonese accent haha)

The way Thirteen (also known as Meihua because that's her real name) blushes is so adorable. The ship has truly sailed then. And the way Seven (also known as Liuqi cuz duuhhh) just holds her in his arms is soooo good! He straight up becomes the chaddest badass guy in this animated series when he goes all serious and hugs a blushing Thirteen. I look forward to being like him one day. Maybe even become a meme in a positive way lol.
