So, funny thing is, in Courage lore, there IS an object very similar to the chest of demons. I don’t remember the specifics because it’s been years, but in one episode, the monster is a cursed box with a demon inside of it that will pull you in. Now that was just ONE demon as opposed to the Chest of Demons which drags into the 10th circle of Hell to suffer torment forever, but I figured it was worth mentioning.

I remember that one. Forget the episodes name, but courage digs up some random looking box and Eustace says it’s where his brother hid his money. It had some sort of demon that tried trapping both Eustace and Muriel. Eustace alone ends up trapped in at episodes ends. Though they never showed the actual demon throughout the episode(only its hands).

You can't just call All Might Vs Might Guy a draw, yeah they both died in the animation, but animation =/= how the fight would go (See: Aquaman Vs Spongebob for the biggest example). Spongebob vs Aquaman was a joke matchup. They make it abundantly clear that Aquaman didn't stand a chance multiple times in the episode. It was just an excuse to talk about Spongebob and show some respect to the Superfriends version of Aquaman. Besides, Death Battle isn't just about settling debates. It's about crossovers. Even if the result is obvious or wrong, it's still nice to see characters and their powers interact, and it's cool to see two likable hosts discuss their stories. An unfair match doesn't automatically makes an episode a flop.

My personal favorites that I think you would like Bill Cipher Vs Discord Guts Vs Dimitri Darth Vader Vs Obito Obi-Wan vs Kakashi Sauron Vs Lich King Harley Quinn Vs Jinx DIO Vs Alucard Goku Black vs Reverse Flash Solid Snake vs Sam Fisher Ganondorf Vs Dracula Saitama Vs Popeye Samurai Jack Vs Afro Samurai And Goku Vs Superman 3 when it releases tomorrow(it is shaping up to be peak) Obviously there are more, but this is a good list of both Peak DB content and battles I think you would have at least a decent interest in. I think it’s cool you do your research beforehand so Keep up the good content

Slapstick and toon physics are PART of the Courage universe-- EVERYTHING runs on it, Courage is just the average denizen in a physical sense-- if he's Superman, he'd be home on Crypton (yes I understand the issue with that, fuck off.). Scooby and Shaggy however are almost the ONLY ones in their universe to operate on toon physics (ignoring the Pup series). They ARE truly powerful in their world. We've SEEN a rare few others in various other canons of the series, if we're starting with Where Are You, and even a couple TINY examples IN it, such as the barking baby chick in one episode-- but those other examples are RARE and usually SMALL.

Yeah, both shaped my childhood, I don't think any other cartoon did more, maaaybe Tom and Jerry? Looney Tunes also up there, Dexter's Lab, so many good cartoons from childhood, but Scooby and Courage easily top of the charts. Jeepers its the Creeper was one of my favorite episodes too. Fun fact Nux, this is actually Death Battle’s FOURTH tie. First it was Koopa vs Goomba tied, because they were both losers, and then Chuck Noris and Segata Sanshiro tied due to both being equally op. But both of those battles happened YEARS ago. More recently Deadpool and Pinkie pie also kinda had a draw, but really it was only because their fourth wall breaking shenanigans let them kinda just leave the fight.

I kinda thought the ending would be "scripted" differently.... I expected the Draw. Don't get me wrong. Well. I too Lean Courage but, Expected draw. Because I would have thought with "Scooby modifying the show" and "gone to commercial" That Scoob would have rewrote the goal of the death battle to be beating Eustace. Like. When Scooby's catapulting to the ground - cut to commercial or technical difficulties or something and then have the two of them on the ground hugging and chuckling. Then Eustace pops out and says the lin... well no says something like "Stupid dog, you're supposed to lose OOOGA BOOGA BOOGAAA" and they both scream, run towards either side of the chest, and then like the ending was, They trap Eustace. Then the KO flashes up and They question it and not following it up with Even Stats of invincibility. But rather go over a bunch of "disbeliefs" until they read the script saying that the goal of the death battle was to beat Eustace, Not each other. Then Death battle surrenders in defeat as they were wrong to pit these two against each other and that they need to be careful that They weren't next to be trapped in the chest, and then they could say it was a draw / The dogs were both the winner.

In All my Years of Requesting which Characters I wanted to see in a Death Battle, Never in a Billion Lifetimes would I put Scooby-Doo and Courage the Cowardly Dog One and Even Before and After this was Announced I question myself who would Win because it also hit me that both of these Cartoon Cowardly Dogs are Broken in Power Level and Cartoon Logic, it’s like putting SpongeBob and Bugs Bunnt in a Death Battle and will never End except for a Draw, anyway this was a Really Good Death Battle and knowing this ended in a Draw it Makes Sense also seeing Eustace Suffering in a Torture Box for Eternity as I have been waiting for Year to see, I’m with Boomstick Animal Haters makes me feel Sick.
