I almost hate to say it, but I am kind of glad the storm moved through, the saltwater is coming back into my areas that I redfish in, where for the longest time now we have only been catching freshwater catfish. And on the other hand, down where you're at the water is just too much. The fishing is good right now and I need to get out more and make some videos. If you want to catch shrimps the traditional way, just search for the word "Gliep", its a net that was fomerly used by shrimpers along the northern sea (germany, netherlands, belgium) and is easy to craft by hand.

Cut a piece of water hose and cut a slit length ways on one side. Wrap that around your net rim with zip ties keeps the rocks from ruining your net

So with the storm isn’t there more run off from water inland flooding. How dirty is the water and does that affect the health of what you eat. I’m in a large city on the coast and every time there is heavy rains they tell us to stay away from the beach bc of the dirty water. Fish near the coast tends to have higher lead levels bc of pollution. Does that affect your fishing.

Hey Jared, poor Pelican struggled out there the other day bad. He caught one Shrimp to then catch a sailcat👍. There were a ton of lady fish in his nets as well 🥴. The dipper skipper is on it🫣. I would hammer a sign in the grownd "I'm tired of picking up your trash,take out what you bring in! Nasty people! I was watchin Dat louisiana life. They were struggling crabbin until they were headed home and saw Crabs all over the sides of the roads, they ate good that night🎉. Have an awesome Baseball Season Boys⚾️🥎! JO JO IN VT 💞
