Hi Anne I can see why you love this city and it must be so fun scooting around it on a lovely day but wow that can be a bit precarious if you're not on the ball, good thing that you are ! It seems so busy, especially at the Sacramento area. Japanese law requires these to have always-lit bright green lights on them. I thought it was an excessive measure because there was something of a moral panic around them a while back. But now I see why!

thanks for scooting with me michael! the rentals here are also required to have lights on the front. i always make sure to have mine on, i wear reflective gear, including light up direction signals on my bag. people have a lot of opinions on the scooters. i started on the rentals and got hooked years ago. they are a great way to get around. have a great week! 🛴❤️

thank you cara! i am not a fan of the lane drifters. the white car definitely made me uncomfortable. but i will say the camera lens does make it look more narrow on screen. the painted lanes are nice for awareness and such, but the protected lanes are the safer route for all. have a great week! 🛴❤️
