Vespas are an incredible machine. Direct shaft driven and powerful too. I once owned a 1966 model vespa made in India 🇮🇳 by Bajaj Scooters. A very reliable and sturdy two-wheeler.

Still I had my father's scooter ( bajaj super indian version of vespa). Olive green colour is colour of scooter. Last week I started it and it starts in two kicks after 6 months. My father purchased scooter 150 CC in march 1992.

When I think about Italy, I think about Vespa. From the 2 strokes with shifting on the left handlebar with clutch handle. So much fun with Vespa. Now in the 70's, I still ride the Vespa 250 automatic and love it. Viva Italiano.

I reckon my MK1 Vespa T5 would have had a good go at that, can wheelie in first three gears its got so much pull, thrashes out about 80 but seeing as the speed limit in the UK is 70 I am happy with that :D
