SCOOTERING AROUND THE ISLAND OF BALI - OFF THE BEATEN TRACK! - Ep 1

This is the beginning of two crazy adults and one courageous 3 year old who have a dream to explore Indonesia over 60 days.
Kickin off in the ever so touristy Canggu, Bali - we grab our scooter, leave the hustle and bustle and head off the beaten track. We find a hidden waterfall, meet some beautiful Indonesian people and have a very spontaneous encounter with a local which we’ll remember forever.
In this episode we show you parts of Bali which we feel are what it used to be like ‘back in the day’ and we get away from the touristy parts to have a true bali experience.
This trip is completely unplanned and it’s going to be wild. Just how we like it. We’re editing one week in advance so as you watch this we are driving around exploring on a scooter. So if you’ve got any tips for any parts of Indonesia please leave a comment.

Last surfed Medewe back in '79 all to ourselves. No buildings on the point. Just three ozzies and the cows hahaha. Love watching you guys get off that beaten track where ever you go, it brings back a lot of good memories. Absolute magic and a Merry Xmas to you all🤙🤙

First went to Bali in 75. Back then Legiong Kuta etc did not have much development at all. Water buffaloes everywhere such a great place . Went all over the island then mainly stayed with families etc. So relaxing no tourist pressure. Last there in 1990. Had changed a lot yet still many great places. Enjoy your trip also they love kids. Doors can open because of that. Enjoy

Love this guys! I nearly did this in Lombok a few years ago but didn't feel confident enough and ended up doing the standard hotel, eat at cafe, massage, swim shit. My wife is from Singaraja, near Lovina. Nice area. Done that inland road countless times and at all hours of the day and night. Always a great drive. When you get to the BUkit on the west coast (South) check out Balagan Beach. Great spot to chill

Hi Guys, Just small tip from a local Balinese - Indonesian here, please for the phone, maybe try to get cheaper one for google mapping, because in these road, we will never know what type of people around. Hopefully only good people around, but just for safety and more. I think make sense for me that you keep your iphone and use more cheaper for the navigation. For some this iPhone that you use for navigation on the road could attract some poor one to try catch it and sell it for easy earning that cause other people dangering life

Loved your video, my sisterand I first went to Bali in 1973. We did a similar trip to you on a motorbike. The roads wee even worse then. At one river crossing they knocked the old bridge down and were in the process of building a new one. We had to pay a couple of guys to carry our motorbike across raging river. One place we went to after Bali was deck cargo on a small freighter to Makassa in Sulawesi. It left from Surabaya on Java. We travelled to the far north of Sulawesi to visit the Torajanese tribes. They bury there dead in limestone caves, and decorate the entrances to the caves
