I was told an 08 zuma wouldn’t benefit from this. But older bugeyes would. Can this still be better than the stock 08 zuma one?

@shane stevens nope. You need to inform yourself. Certain years had a few tweeks vs the older. Same with some have carb restrictions, others dont. Ask around🤷🏻♂️. Lol

@shane stevens And it’s not even a restriction, it’s just that it’s angled differently, hurting your acceleration

What difference does the more taller/ higher straight groove and the lower straight groove make? i recently bought one of these from you guys and just wondering what difference there is.

Short is for a higher powered setup. The longer is going to be the setup on a more mild build.

I have a stock cylinder roughhouse that I'm going to be adding a Yazuni Z pipe too very soon. I already have the Malossi Multivar installed with the white contra spring that comes with the kit. I'm a bit heavier than average at 240 pounds and I experience the dead zone when the bike should be downshifting. It's a new bike, still breaking it in obviously, but the white contra spring definitely helped with this issue. But I think this NCY drive pulley will fix the issue of not downshifting when I let off the throttle and get back into it even though its the stock cylinder. This is a daily commuter and I won't be doing a BBK kit at least until the warranty is over. Which groove in the pulley should I use for basically a stock setup?

@mattalger23256 ай бұрын
@@kolten808Well, the whole point was to not replicate the stock shift point. I wanted a more definitive downshift after deceleration, once I change the pipe I'm sure it will have a wider powerband but I think the stock roughhouse has what looks like a dogleg in the factory groove that makes it essentially have a "hump" in the shitt points.
@kolten8086 ай бұрын
@@mattalger2325 only you will be able to determine which groove will suite your riding style better. Locations of destinations, is it flat or hilly roads, route choice either one could benefit more than the other. Tuning tip: heavy riders should use stiffer contra springs to allow more rpm at lower speeds malossi yellow or red, stiffer clutch pad springs 2000 rpm stall, lighter roller weights. Changing the transmission tune could effect throttle response.
