Personally I do pretty well with this gun, you have a very fast paced close combat style and this gun isn't for that. You also have to upgrade it fully for it to kick ass, and have scavenger 2 to keep it fed. Works better in a big map like lakeside

Terrible? No. Maybe you just haven't taken the time to get used to it or it just isn't the weapon for you. Having a scope on it makes for easier headshots meaning easier kills. In the right hands it is one of the best weapons in the game. It's only issue is that it has a hard time with armour.

Sometimes. Honestly scope doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me when this gun is close range. If the enemy have skills in other guns, than full auto is awful. If you want something fast shooting that's more useful, variable rifle.

vidox78 exactly, and scoped was really made for long range engagements. Not point blank range though the sight is poor
