Maybe put the greenhouse on top of one of the roofs, so you can take advantage of the excellent sunlight? Harvesting chitin from the lymantria and some stone later, you've got the cementing paste you'll need. Plus, you're close to around five good metal spawns, meaning you'll be farming in no time. Loving your content!

Fun Fact: if you place a fence foundation in the correct spot, you can place that pillar exactly where you want it to be!

Q and E (right handed controls) flip and select snap points. I learn that through Aaron Longstaffs build videos. Makes some really cool designs. I’d love to see you in season 7 build a treehouse base in the redwood near the waterfall. Having the tree platforms connect to different parts of the base would look so cool

I opened a red drop with a ring yesterday… acendant stone pick bp and a medium crop plot bp were the best things that I got Anyways, keep up the awesome videos!

Fun fact! There's a way to make the ceilings sit flush with the foundations! I picked it up from one of Aron Longstaff's videos. If you build a wall on the opposite side of the foundation you want to snap the ceiling too, then a stairs to the wall so it goes over the foundation, that creates a lower snap point for the ceiling to snap to. Once it's snapped, you get rid of the stairs and wall, and snap ceilings to the other ceiling. Completely flush flooring!

But with all those solutions there is one problem your floor will be flush but as soon as you put a wall on to it that won't be flush.

You can just put a ceiling ontop of the foundation so its on the same level as the other ceilings

Could you maybe put ceilings on top of the foundations on the one side to even out the room and hide the 2x4s to the edge of the room?? Base looks great very creative. Well done.

Building tip.. if you use a wall and stairs, you can create a lower snap point for ceilings so they are flush with foundations.

Question: since I haven't tested it, too many windows affects the sandstorm protection but if you fill them with greenhouse glass you still get light, does that fix it or does it still have reduced protection?

Yay speedy-up-e-bit! Next time you build with ceilings and floors, snap double door frame to the underside of ceiling to lower the ceiling to match the foundation height!

Hey Phoo, those peaks at 28:40 would be great spots for troughs rather than filling them in. I’m behind in episodes so maybe it’s a moot point, but just my 2 cents!

You can make the ceilings flush with a wall and stairs to create another snap point

You can snap ceilings to the other ceilings covering up the foundations so the floor becomes flush and matches. At least I’ve had to do it when building circular bases near ledges so all my walls had the same level snap point.

Or snap a lower foundation and some walls that way your ceilings will also be flush with the higher foundations .

Just lay some ceilings across the top of those floor foundations. It will be more uniform from wall to wall, and you wont see the 2X4s.

If you place a triangular ceiling on the floor you'll be able to cover what you called (2x4)'s. 😉

For the gates in the middle, instead of right next to eachother leaving one space on the side(where you placed the wall), just put the 1 extra space in the middle and the two gates on either side. More visually pleasing for symmetry, and no loss to functionality. Hell, if you wanted to, you could just put 1 behemoth gate there instead.
