Did you get those fake maki-e pens from "pen wing stationary" aka Pensachi aka Wancher? I got almost screwed by them once, and I will not be giving them more of my money. See Tokyo pen station's write up. Article name is "inky mess: Wancher".

Not sure who the seller was. It was off eBay years ago. But I didn't have any issues with the transaction. Sorry your purchase didn't go well. If payed by PayPal, you could easily file a dispute and get your money back.
