I just got a 22 curado bfs and I needed to find a casting video, that was me this morning birds nest after nest, thankyou for showing I'm not the only one, so learning curve, ok.

I'd really like to see some comparison to budget reels vs higher end reels. How do the nicer kastkings compare with a Curado or tatula? Are they just junk? How about reels like the abu Garcia black max or the cheap lews? The nice reels are cool but I'll never buy one. For me a Kastking is a step up from my $79 abu Garcia orra sx combo. With the dual braking system they compare with the basspro models which cost significantly more and get good reviews. Would be great to see where they stand. Thanks.

ok ill go ahead and tell you guys Im going to do a $100 dollar reel shootout soon. Im shooting for 6 different reels but it will probably be 5. just stay tuned :)

I love my 16 Aldebaran bfs. So smooth and light. On my 6'2" summit favorite rod it weights in at 7.6 oz spooled up. On the Zodias BFS rod it's 8.4 oz spooled up. Great comparison video! Keep them coming!

the regular scorpion 70 has no drag clicker, only the bfs has the drag clicker

Can the Chronarch MGL outcast the Curado 70 for lighter lures??? More than a few people online have been mentioning that it can. They say total spool weight even after line is on gives advantage to the Chronarch MGL, same thing for the Metanium especially the JDM version, the Curado 70 spool weighs about 15.7 grams.

I doubt it. Holds too much line and has a bigger spool diameter.

Daniel Dean.. the Chronarch MGL most definitely can cast lighter than the Curado 70. Dude I have told you this before in other other respones on videos. Dont get what you problem is with a Chronarch Mgl. My Curado 70 I sold because I had nothing but over runs with a weightless 6.5 inch zoom trick worm and 10 lb flouro. The Chronarch does not backlash at all with brakes even on 5 with only 2 on inside. I have fished both of these reels out on the lake quite a bit in my boat.

No problem at all. Just ordered the HG on the labor day sale. I am excited and finally trying a Shimano. THE REEL TEST helped me decide, and just the more sleek refined feel helped me along too. I had an SV103 ready to buy, but already own ALL Daiwa's so I am giving the MGL a shot. Sorry if I bothered asking questions, just so hard to get info on higher end fishing tackle.

I got the same rod 65 ul with the alde bfs and 67 or 68 , can't remember light power with the scorpion bfs I love both set ups

If this your first bfs reel go with the scorpion, it's solid bfs reel. The alde is bit more refined.

Seb. B. Aldebaran main gear is brass, spool weight 7.2 gram with bearing, lighter shaft and body is made from CI4+. Scorpion main gear is black alumunium oxyde with regular low end body, 8.9g spool with bearing and heavier shaft.
