But then I realized if he’s not scorpion that means his family was never murdered and he never needed to start his quest for vengeance. Liu Kang could have condemned that other Scorpion to the Netherrealm, the Void, or even some other punishment. But he instead decided to not only acknowledge his sorrow, but to help him find peace with Harumi. It may not be _Hanzo's_ Harumi, but she is still one that shares his grief. And now that both have a target for their rage, one who rightfully deserves it, the two can live happily on the pile of evil corpses that are left in their wake. Quan Chi brought that sort of suffering upon himself. Good to see that no matter the timeline, he is always doomed to get what's coming to him.
