These guys are just fucking incredible,always have been. Its a shame that most casual listeners in this day and age only know them for "rock you like a hurricane" or MAYBE big city nights and no one like you. :( But us rockers know all the awesome songs they had,which is pretty much all of them. There's not many scorpions tunes that I dont love!

I remember watching the Berlin wall come down and I still think all of the great music from the 80s had an impact as people behind the iron curtain could get a taste of western music and freedom and longed for it. Now I'm seeing my own US become tyranical and I worry about my own freedom. But I've still got all of my music from the 80s and I'll never stop rockin...rock on EVARS737

Never said he was better. Read my comment. I said Rarebell is a good drummer. Good day. The drumming on Tokyo Tapes is very good. By the way, the Scorps are known as a guitar/vocal band anyway. The drummer takes a back seat in this band. Guitar band all the way. Starting with Schenker,Roth and Jabs as lead guitar players, you gotta know this. Been a fan since 1981.

Guess what. The Scorps are a guitar oriented band. Not much room for fills and shit. Have you heard Tokyo Tapes with Uli Roth? Probably not, or you wouldn't make such comments. The drum solo is excellent. The drumming on that live album is excellent. Love it when people don't know what the hell they are talking about and claim they do.

steven adler did way more fills on appetite for destruction than rarebell ever did. also he was a much harder hitter, which is also good. here he has two bass drums, so why doesn't he use them? because he can't I guess. but yeah, his drumming on lovedrive is really weak. they probably kept him because he coud write songs.
