Wait, what? someone is doing a Scorpions reaction, holy crap am I dreaming. one of the greatest rock bands to come out of Germany since 1972 with their debut album Lonesome Crow which included the Schenker bros. Michael and Rudolph and Klaus Meine the ultimate vocalist in his time. Michael eventually left and joined UFO in 1974 and became a legend and guitar god. this is so dang awesome, already 16 years into the future with Mattias Jabs as the guitarist who opened the song the other one is Rudolph Schenker

A curious fact involving those two bands: Scorpions is the only band to have "headlined" Maiden since 1981 (from 1982 on, since The Beast On The Road Tour, they've always been the main act), at Rock In Rio 2019. I used quotation marks 'cause Maiden WAS the headliner but asked to play earlier, to which Scorpions promptly agreed, since they prefered to play later. And it worked out perfectly...very few fans left after Maiden's concert, Scorpions did a great show and closed that awesome night of the main stage
@flaviopace41713 жыл бұрын

He was the one who had to replace the legend Uli J Roth who again replaced the even more legendary Michael Schenker.
@cristyrawks63253 жыл бұрын
At the time Matthias came into Scorpions, he was utilizing a very little known technique at the time that he adopted from Jimi Hendrix. His long thumb wrapping around the neck to hit the top strings to add that extra harmony, if you will. Also, back in the 80s, in the U. S. he was considered a very accomplished technical guitar player by Rock Mags and other musicians. Maybe not by today's standards, because just about anyone can play the Rock You Like A Hurricane solo he composed, for instance. But back in the day, it was quite a difficult piece. Matthias was and still is very underrated.
