Shit his pants to avoid the Vietnam draft....real patriot....my dad and his two brothers gladly volunteered and did three tours each 1968 thru1971....those 3 brothers were REAL men and never claimed to be Patriots, but, were real warriors from the Great Seminole Nation of Oklahoma.....uncle Ted is just an old washed up turd...

Nugent was HIGH energy in concert, I saw him 5 years ago and it was pretty much the same, one song after another for 2 hours and he was in his 70s. I was shocked that he had a 3 piece band and at his age, he handled rhythm guitar, lead guitar, and most of the vocals for 2 hours straight without stopping.

Ted is 74 years old and can still rock n roll. Saw Ted many times but 1978 at the Texxas World Music Festival with more big names than you could count. Great times and the days when you would go to a concert at the very least 1 time a month but usually more often. Ted always used stacks upon stacks of Marshall amps set on 10. Your ears would bleed for hours after the concert, rock on Ted!

I saw him in 1977 at the Cow Palace in Daly City (just south of San Francisco). REO Speedwagon opened. My hearing was practically gone for 3 days as well, I was seriously worried after the 2nd day if it would ever return to normal. Watched the concert from about 20 or 30 feet in front of the stage, so I was asking for it I guess! Worth it though, great show.

I saw him twice. Once at RFK Stadium in DC in 1976 with Aerosmith and Lynyrd Skynyrd and once warming up for Black Sabbath in 1978. He was so loud I could not hold my grain and fruit punch down and missed my favorite band Black Sabbath. Ended up going outside and was not allowed back in. Ah, memories.... He would run all over the stage, in front of massive PA speakers and jump off amps and the drum riser.

I have seen Ted twice solo and once with Damn Yankees. Funny little fact, I have an older cousin who grew up in Detroit, and he saw Ted right after he left Amboy Dukes, and Detroit booed him off of the stage. In the Amboy Dukes Ted just stood and played the guitar, and he did the same for that solo show my cousin was at. The next time he played he came out swinging like Tarzan in a loin cloth, and became the Motor City Madman, and the crowd went crazy. The stage act he has used ever since. I always enjoy some Ted music..
