That is a very good point. I speculate - but younger brother to Rudolf, Michael Schenker likely would have come back into the band had it not been for the fact that Mathias fit the bill, was awesome, and therefore the Scorps never had a need for Michael. That said, Michael, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and Eddie - please name a better rock guitarist than any of these 3.

@@ThomasBCrowley because Michael returned to the band at that time. Soon after the toor he left the band due to his problems with alcohol so Scorpions had to call Matthias back. That is why some Lovedrive songs were recorded with Michael and other with Matthias

Awesome band! The Crazy World tour in 1989 or 1990 was the first time I ever saw them play. Great White and Kix opened for them in Toronto. Took my buddy for his 20th birthday to his first concert. He still talks about the great time to this day!

Scorpions are for me the hard rock legends from Germany ... and that already for over 50 years 🤘. "Tease Me Please Me" is probably the first Scorpions song I ever heard, because my mom (yes, she actually listens to hard rock/metal, from the Scorps, to Whitesnake, to Maiden and Priest 😎) had bought "Crazy World" back then and this was the first track on the album and when I heard this as a kid, I thought "Wow, this voice and the guitars are out of this world" 🤩. I think that was my first introduction to rock and roll.
