My dad was 18 years old when this came out (also he met my mom then) and he is still rockin' scorpions and other classic rock bands to this day and I'm so happy he introduced me to scorpions (and others) in an early stage of my life so that i can appreciate that era of music just as much as i appreciate todays mucic. I remember when I first heard this song many years ago. I thought it was incredibly beautiful and powerful and I HAD to buy it somewhere so I could play it over and over and over again. Those vocals...what can a person say? His range is amazing and that falsetto is not only beautiful but haunting in this song when accompanied by the guitars. I absolutely love these guys.im 56 now and still listen. Now my grown daughters listen to them.this song especially reminds me of my first true love.he took his own life when our son died. He just couldn't handle losing his buddy our only son.but I have 4 beautiful daughters that I'm proud of.their dad played guitar. So we are quite the musical family.
