2 years ago when they played the song at their residency, they dedicated the song to Ukraine as the Russians had just invaded 2 days earlier. Being German they probably have a true hatred of the Russians and probably figured why give them any due. I also do not like when artists take artistic license with their songs, but this one I can kinda undertsand. They also changed the lyrics to mention Ukraine.
