Happy Sunday Paul! Oh, boy...I am first. I stayed awake into the wee hours to watch your video over a beer or two. I really enjoyed the classic music and flowers in the introduction. I have finally ordered the recommended Palmolive shave stick and I am glad to see the cream works well too. I like the farmer joke...that bloke was quite right..78 rounded up is indeed 80. I like Nacet blades myself and are the go to blade for travel because they go at least a shave longer than Astra SP blades. I am not sure what method of shaving is the real money pit. I seem to spend plenty on shaving related items. I have written at length about the business model of the cartridge/disposable shaving system. I did a study in business school about products with the greatest margins. The Gillette Fusion replacement cartridges are priced 450% higher than the cost to manufacture them. In that sense you are correct; they are designed to separate you from your money. However, knowing that those cartridges are over priced isn't really saving me any money. I am now just spending any potential savings on boarder selection of products. At least that is my choice and I am not just filling the coffers over at Gillette World Headquarter to distribute to Proctor and Gamble share holders. Your shave was nice. Great Shave ....... Always keep a tube of Palmolive around , love to mix a dab of it in my bowl with other soaps , gives a lift to soaps that don't lather as well. have a Fabulous day, enjoy the roast ....

Hi Paul, about the cologne - its Carnation (Dianthus caryophyllus), in czech "karafiát". These colognes are marketed as women colognes, and in the range there is Carnation, Lily of the valley and Violet. There is also mens aftershave in same bottle: Alpa 378.

Great video Paul. When your in doubt a little Palmolive will go a long way. Top notch cream and still around so long for a good reason. Your aftershave selections were nice. Lily of the valley and clove are two pleasant scents. Two thumbs up! Beautiful flowers and Alice sounds so cute. Have a great day my man.

Great video. Need to get some Palmolive shaving soap. I hear lots of great compliments about it. This traditional wet shaving thing is definitely addictive- my wife just looks in the shave den and shakes her head. It's cheaper than collecting guitars I tell her! Love brisket!! Brisket is a regular here in Kansas,Missouri, and in this general area of the US. It's usually smoked for a long time, and the results are impressive. When done correctly, it just falls apart and melts in your mouth! One of my favorite cuts of meat to put on the smoker!

Paul, Love The Colors in the Flowers Mrs H did a Fantastic Job as always ! The wood to make that Handle is Olive wood and Purple Heart wood ,I made a set of two as I told you before I have the other which is a synthetic and is the first made and the one you have was made of the left over wood. I have a strong desire to send you that one as well ,You know to keep the set together ... ;)

Great shave! I love Palmolive shaving cream and use it many times a week. I just wonder why the box and the tube has Finnish text, although the product can’t really be found anywhere in Finland. I bought mine from Amazon. The smell is great, especially with cold water shave.

The Thayers Medicated is my favourite part of the shave and I would feel I hadn't had a shave unless I didn't have any shave . Reminds me of the old barbers shops when I was a kid, plus- I have added a couple of drops of patchouli oil to one bottle of Nivea regular and two drops of sandalwood essential oils to a second Nivea regular - beautiful do try!! Oh and I do like the Palmolive for sensitive skin to be honest.

Sunday already! Got up at 3am, made coffee, and when I checked my e-mail there was the "Sunday Shave"! Great to have your company on this damp rainy morning Paul. Mrs. H has stolen the show with her lovely flowers, fantastic! Our "William Baffin" rose bush still has a few blossoms despite yesterday's frost, tough Canadian stock. I've noticed when using the "Q-Shave" razor that one side seems more aggressive than the other. I can't see any reason for it by looking at the razor, have you any razors that shaves like that? For me the cheap and expensive soaps-creams all work just as good as the other , so for me I love using my cheaper products like van der hagen, palm olive and Williams(when it works of course) since there cheaper but I still get expensive soaps-creams to add to my collection.
